LG electronics has decided to introduce latest series of curved 4k monitors at IFA 2014 in Berlin this month. Along with super-wide screen, the new 4k monitors feature 21:9 aspect ratio, amazing 3440 x 1440 pixel display as well as multiple high-speed connection options. LG will put on display three 4k monitors including:
- LG 34UC97 (designed for digital photographers)
- LG 31MU97 (aimed at digital cinema)
- LG 24GM77 (intended for gaming lovers)
The 34-inch curved 4k monitor 34UC97, which will most probably be brought out together with the new versions of G3 Smartphone including G3 Prime and G3, is reported to be capable of delivering a more effective and consistent viewing angle of 178o.
In addition, the eye-catching Digital Cinema 4K Monitor 31MU97 conforms to the standards set by DCI (Digital Cinema Initiative) for ultra high resolution screens. Its 31-inch display boasts ultra high resolution of 4,096×2,160 pixels which is 4x greater than the resolution of any other full high definition monitor. It also enables film editors to see real 4K movie the way it is viewed in cinema.
Moreover, the full-featured monitor for gamers 24GM77 has the capability to support a full 144 Hz refresh rate resulting in smooth picture quality. LG’s DAS (Dynamic Action Sync) aspect also guarantees to reduce the input lag.
