It seems that Sony evidently doesn’t intend to let the Samsung and its HU8200 and HU8500 models have complete freedom over the Curved UHD 4K TV market. Recently, the Japanese manufacturer has itself introduced a curved TV, the S9000B, which is said to be accessible in market in 65-inch (KD-65S9000B) and 75-inch (KD-75S9000B) models.
This latest variety is founded on the X9005B model that was launched quite a long time ago. As you would have thought, it comes with an AU Optronics Edge LED board along with Triluminos (stretched out assortment of colors). In addition, it also includes a number of valuable features like X-Reality PRO 4K up-scaling, vibrant backlighting with limited blurring (which is termed as X-tended Dynamic Range) and XR800 motion compensation (100 Hz native frequency). Besides that, you will be able to enjoy a dynamic 3D technology as well as DualView for full-screen gaming. It also incorporates 2 pairs of glasses.
Every related service is available in this Curved UHD 4K TV, such as Music and Video Unlimited, catch-up TV, applications, a media player for DLNA material and USB-linked tools. Additional features include a quick start-up of only two seconds, screen sharing and a One Flick remote.
So far, cost and availability for the S9000B model has not been announced in UK market.
