Sony introduces Android powered 4K TV range

Sony introduces its first ever Android powered 4K TVs in Australia which consists of 10 new top of the line smart TVs including 8 models that are powered by Google’s Android TV operating system. The new flagship smart TVs brings more versatility and style to Sony’s line-up of smart TVs.

Out of the 10 new TV models, 6 of them have 4K displays while the rest feature a 1080p full HD display. The display size of the new series ranges from 49 inch to 75 inches. There are two models that standout among the new lineup – the 75-inch Bravia X9400C and the 65-inch X9300C. The X9400C is available for AU$ 11,999 while X9300C is available for AU$ 6,999.

Both 4K TV models have very impressive features including Sony’s brand new X1 image processor and X-tended Dynamic Range (XDR) feature. Sony has also improved the audio quality on these two models and the new front-facing magnetic fluid speakers deliver higher audio quality than before.

Talking about the Android OS, the UI is neat and tidy. It will be a lot easier and familiar for Android users to use. The navigation is made easy by making common features available easily on front. Apart from that, users can also access their Google Movies, Google Music and Google Cast on Sony’s new Android powered 4K TVs.

Out of the 10 new models introduced by Sony, the most budget-friendly TV is the 65 inch X8500C available for AU$ 4,999. Even though it doesn’t have features like magnetic fluid speakers or XDR but it’s the best replacement if anyone is looking to upgrade their smart TV.
