LG announced today that it will be offering free Sky Q membership to customers who will buy the selected LG TVs. The offer is the result of the partnership between LG and Sky through which new LG customers will get free Sky Q subscription.
There are only a handful of resources that you can use to watch 4K content. Both Netflix and Amazon offer 4K streaming and has quite a large collection of 4K media. However, they both don’t offer much when it comes to 4K sports content.
The offer applies to all LG OLED TV 2016 models, including the G6, E6, C6 and B6 series and LG Super UHD TVs which includes UH950V, UH850V and the UH770 series TVs. Customers opting for the OLED TVs will get a 12 months Sky Q access and a multiscreen subscription for free. If you are a subscriber already, you will just receive the 12 month multiscreen subscription. Whereas the customers going for the Super UHD TV will receive a 6 month Original bundle and 6 months multiscreen subscription.
The offer doesn’t end there. If you buy any of the above mentioned LG TV, you will also receive a Sky Q Silver 2TB box for free which is valid till 31st March 2017 but a special case for UH770 series TV where the offer ends on 28 December, 2016. After the specified period ends, you have to pay the regular subscription charges to continue watching free 4K sports content on your new LG OLED TV or LG Super UHD TV.
