LG recently unleashed its 2 premier curved ultra high-definition 4K OLED TV models, ideal for high-end purchasers who would never compromise on picture quality. At present, it has been reported that the manufacturer is about to unveil them in the US Markets.
The 65-inch LG 4K OLED TV 65EC9700 has a suggested retail price of $10K and will arrive in the US markets in early next month. As per rumors, the final price is likely to be as low as $7K, however for the time being many high street retailers all over the country have listed this OLED TV for October with a retail price of $10,000.
In contrast, the LG 4K OLED 77-inch model 77EG9700 is a lot more expensive and will be available in November only at specific retail store with a $25K MSRP.
OLED technology, guarantees better contrast and picture resolution as compared to LCD. OLED TVs have much thinner screens that give them stylish outward looks. However, this technology has not been adopted by all major manufacturers yet. LG’s super-wide OLED TV is declared to be the pioneer to feature UHD resolution. Its WRGB technology has earned ample admiration, and its latest OLED TV turned out to be a winner at the 4K TV contest 2014 held by Value Electronics. Both LG 4K OLED TVs are also WebOS enabled which will enable the users to switch between conventional broadcast TV to streaming videos to media saved on exterior devices quickly and with ease.
